Vernon King reigns supreme in his car showroom in a gleaming corner of Hendon. Together with his heir apparent, Dean, he sells powerful cars to powerful men. Performance is everything at King's Motors - and so far it's been Oscars all the way for Vernon. But one Sunday morning their world is punctured by the arrival of a strange boy. Is he heaven-sent, or an agent of darkness? With him here, can King's retain Pole position? Faster than a Bluebird, darker than gearbox oil, with more kinks than a smashed-up fender, Spike takes us hurtling through the greasy chicanes and hair-pins of faith, families, sex and the environment. It's twisted, it's fast and it's funny. Be warned - this play contains strong language and nudity.
