CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.

Stop Messing About - A Kenneth Williams Extravaganza archiveStop Messing About is set during a live BBC studio recording. This new revue is packed with outrageously funny sketches, parodies and songs. It revels in the outstanding talents of Kenneth Williams, his Carry On co-star Joan Sims, his long time colleague and friend Hugh Paddick and a talented BBC announcer Douglas Smith who plays all the parts nobody else wants. Meet Sir Inigo Parchmutter, known as the 'Hanging Judge' for reasons we won’t go into, who feels that Legal Aid is a soft drink for Lawyers. See Joan Sims as a very, very short-sighted lady trying to pass her driving test in a fog of uncertainty. Hear The Kingston, Surbiton, Wimbledon and District Line Trio perform 'The Ballad of Baldy O’Toole' complete with gestures. And join in the London to Brighton Ballroom Dancing Rally, avoiding the patch of Brylcreem on the B327. Stop Messing About - A Kenneth Williams Extravaganza website.
Performers Robin Sebastian (Kenneth Williams), Emma Atkins (Joan Sims), Charles Armstrong (Douglas Smith), Nigel Harrison (Hugh Paddick), Keith Wickham (Sound Effects Man).
Author Johnnie Mortimer. Author Brian Cooke. Producer Mark Goucher Ltd. Director Michael Kingsbury. Design Liz Cooke. Sound Rod Anderson. Lighting Tony Simpson.
