Havana, 1979: David meets Diego. Lured to his apartment under false pretences, David discovers forbidden treasures, contraband books, music, American whiskey and very open criticism of the Castro regime. When Miguel, a fellow activist of the communist youth, convinces David to spy on Diego, temperatures rise as the two men debate about nationality, politics, art and sexuality.
