When Lord Ffynnon decides to don a false identity as a traveling salesman in order to mingle among the common people, he adopts the name of Smith and books into The Druid's Rest. Unfortunately, there is a murderer at large in Wales by t he name of Smith and Lord Ffynnon is immediately mistaken for him. First performed in 1944, with Richard Burton playing one of the major roles.
