An exploration of one woman's world after she is diagnosed with autism. Imagine you spent your whole life believing everyone was pretending to be someone else and that everyone constructed a mask in a similar way. Imagine that you thought that everyone stole their expressions from other people the way you did. Imagine you believed that everyone practised their small-talk over and over and over in a mirror in order to achieve the perfect reflection. Imagine you are the ugly duckling, who instead of finding your place in the world as a swan, built a duck-mask and learnt to waddle. Imagine living a lifetime trying to fit into a space that does not fit, trying to move in ways that do not suit, trying to ignore your senses because other people don't feel things the way you do.
