Rebuilding the city after the second world war, we meet the milkman barely making ends meet on his daily round, the butcher who really wants to be a car mechanic and discover the mother trying to find enough beds for her 13 children in a tiny apartment. We also venture out to learn the foxtrot, cha cha cha and rock & roll: for Saturday night is dance night! The show features live accordion music and 1950s songs. Performed in Dutch with English surtitles.
