CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.

The Gut Girls archiveThe 'gut girls' of Deptford, in Victorian London, are a rowdy, boisterous bunch who have mouths like sailors and are as strong as the oxen they gut. By day they are up to their knees in freshly slaughtered animal entrails, but in the evening they are their own women, financially independent, rare for working class women of the time. Enter Lady Helena, an aristocrat on a mission to teach the 'gut girls' some manners and to get them employed as domestic staff. The result is a total surrender of their independence, spirit and way of life.
Performers Lucy Caplin (Maggie/Nora/Edna), Beth Eyre (Ellen/Priscilla), Billie Fulford-Brown (Polly), Oliver Malam (Jim/Edwin), Gemma Paget (Lady Helena), Katherine Rodden (Kate), Luke Stevenson (Harry/Arthur/Len/Mad Jacko), Hannah Wood (Annie/Emily/Eady).b.
Author Sarah Daniels. Producer Kirsty Fox. Producer John Fricker. Design Mary Taylor (assistant). Sound Mark Webber. Lighting Amy Smith. Director Jennifer Jackson (movement). Director Ben Pewterson (fight). Design Sarah Farrell (graphic design). Company Outfox Theatre.
