CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. The Last Yankee archiveA compelling and rarely performed play. In a stage mental hospital, Patricia Hamilton is recovering from depression. This may be the day she feels strong enough to go home. but a visit from her husband, Leroy, a descendent of one of America's founding fathers, coincides with that of successful businessman, John Frick who has come to see his newly-admitted wife, Karen. A clash of values and emotions upset them all. Success it seems, can only be achieved by leaving this enclosed arena and making sense of an imperfect world beyond. Supported by the Octagon Theatre
Performers David Ricardo-Pearce, Patrick Poletti, Annie Tyson, Juliet Aubrey.
Author Arthur Miller. Presented by University of Bolton. Presented by Bolton Council. Presented by Library and Museum Services. Director David Thacker.
