A mediaeval morality play originally written in the early 1500s, The Play O the Wather is one of the oldest surviving plays in the English language. It was updated to broad Scots in this translation from the pen of established Scottish-based writer Edwin Stiven and enjoyed a successful premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2002.
