There is no limit to what can happen in a city, quite ordinary things, quite extraordinary things or seemingly nothing at all. Urban Stories promises to be an exciting and innovative project portraying a surreal image of life in a 21st century city, touching the core of human existence through striking visual images and physical performance. Devised from a series of snapshots by Giannis Chrysoulis, material produced from a workshop for women from diverse cultural backgrounds, and a multimedia workshop by the artists, Urban Stories is a virtual journey through everyday life in a city with the twist that revolutionises the mundane and makes the extraordinary look surreal. It captures moments from everyday life and takes them to another level...funny, sad, happy, cynical and controversial.
