Details
The five-act tragic opera is based on the legend of the Polish princess Vanda and her fight to preserve her country in the face of Germanic threat. It presents the clash between love and duty, the pagan and Christian cultures of pre-medieval Europe, greed and self-sacrifice. Chorus and other roles - Students of University College London.
