UKTW - 25 years online
CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned re-opening time though it will not be before 1st June 2020 and is most likely to be September (according to some West End producers). Some shows have been cancelled, or closed early, but many are being rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with the changes - assume that anything posted for April and May is actually postponed or cancelled. Pantomimes are possible but a few venues and shows may not return and larger venues and tours are unlikely to re-appear before 2021.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? archiveSet in the early 1960s, Edward Albee’s explosive play captures the mood of a society on the brink of massive change. Ferociously funny and emotionally raw, this is a compelling rollercoaster ride into the darkest depths of love and marriage. Fifty years after the original play was set, the emotive issues raised are as relevant now as they were then. The 1960s were classed as a sexual, political and musical revolution, when risks were taken and groundbreaking changes evolved. This new production will provide a sexy, sassy, and stirring look into the volatile world of relationships.
Performers Ian Bartholomew (George), Denise Black (Martha), Nick Court (Nick), Kaye Wragg (Honey).
Author Edward Albee. Producer Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse. Director Gemma Bodinetz. Design Francis O'Connor. Lighting Natasha Chivers. Sound John Leonard.
