A bitter-sweet tragi-comedy about comedians, bullies, victims, love and subsidence. Autumn 1992. Veteran comedian, Hugh Nichols, visits his comedy partner, Tony Bromley, at a hospice. He faces the death of someone many would say was the better half of the double-act. He can almost feel their resentment.
