In the middle of an unidentified conflict, the animals in the park Zoo have found themselves abandoned. One last keeper stands between them and the outside world. When two mysterious strangers arrive in the middle of the night, the Tiger, the Chimp and the Slow Loris are forced to choose between the apparent safety of their cages and the uncertain freedoms of the outside world Imaginative, darkly comic and original, ZOO was read at the Royal Court Theatre in 2004 then played as part of the ShortCuts Festival at the Arcola Theatre and Hackney Empire.
