Pegasus Youth Dance Company presents Nature/Nurture taking inspiration from characters and themes from Shakespeare in this 400th anniversary year. Through this unique viewpoint the piece investigates how personalities are influenced by genetics or the environment. The dancers perform to a wide variety of music with selected quotes from Shakespeare's work woven in, expressing different emotional states as the dance and the characters develop ending with the famous ?All the world's a stage' quote from As You Like It as the lights fade. The Sound of Secrecy comes from Pegasus Youth Theatre Company and takes place between World War Two and modern day. The wartime codebreakers of Bletchley Park were a secret force set on stopping the advance on the Nazi invasion in Europe. They had little idea of how their work, shrouded in secrecy, would impact on their lives and on the future. Seventy years later one young person with a secret must decode one of theirs as well as unlock their own.
