Forum Theatre 'is a contest between spect-actors trying to bring the play to a different end (in which the cycle of oppression is broken) and actors ostensibly making every possible effort to bring it to its original end (in which the oppressed is beaten and the oppressors are triumphant)' Adrian Jackson, Games for Actors and Non-Actors. In this session we can start to deal with some of the issues that occur in Blagger to do with drug offence, and to demonstrate how the oppressed can be empowered. Discover, from ex-offenders themselves, how such techniques are available to those wishing to bring about change in their lives. Suitable for College, University or School students interested in forum theatre as well as young people considered to be 'at risk' of drug-taking or related offending behaviour.
