The PINDROP CLUB consists of 8 acoustic musicians and singers who like to play it quiet. Its an old idea but one that they feel passionately about - that music is at its best when you can 'hear a pin drop'. And because silence is born out of a collaboration between the audience and the performers, an evening with the Pindrop Club is intimate and informal. With some of the finest musicians in the South West playing a range of instruments including acoustic guitar, home made tin instruments, mandolin, pipes, accordion, acoustic fretless bass, pan pipe, ukulele, dobro and finger piano and performing original songs and classics by the likes of Neil Young, Nick Drake and Eva Cassidy, the Pindrop band will take you on a musical journey from the Penguin Café Orchestra, an African Township to the Appalachian mountains. You’ll never be quite sure what’s coming next.
