CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned re-opening time though it will not be before 1st June 2020 and is most likely to be September (according to some West End producers). Some shows have been cancelled, or closed early, but many are being rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with the changes - assume that anything posted for April and May is actually postponed or cancelled. The Quentin Collins/Brandon Allen Quartet

The Quentin Collins/Brandon Allen Quartet are one of the most exciting live bands on the UK & European Jazz scene today. Brandon Allen (saxophone) & Quentin Collins (trumpet) are both established masters of their instruments, and backing them is one of the most sought after rhythm sections around - Ross Stanley on Hammond organ & drummer Enzo Zirilli. Brandon and Ross are no strangers to the Victoria Hall having played here before with Dylan Howe. Between them they have played with names such as; Prince, Jean Toussaint, Stan Tracey, Maceo Parker, Dennis Rollins and Jools Holland. Their sound pays homage to such luminaries as Art Blakey, Joe Henderson, Larry Young & Lee Morgan, but with the leaders' forward thinking drive, and inspired by their passion for hard-bop - notably, 1950s & 60s Blue Note recordings there's a whole lot more going on besides.
