Rising - T1125891659One of the emerging stars of the dance world, Aakash Odedra performs three solos created for him by choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Russell Maliphant and Akram Khan. Aakash Odedra is widely known as an accomplished Kathak dancer and a rising young star of British dance. He has trained with acclaimed dancers Chitraleka Bolar and Nilima Devi in the UK and Asha Joglekar and Chhaya Kanvateh in India. Aakash spent 2011 working with acclaimed choreographers Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Russell Maliphant. They each created solos for Aakash and in turn, allowed Aakash to observe the choreographic processes of three very distinct choreographers.
