The culmination of a series of workshops with local schools and community groups led by Sushmita Pati - artistic director of Kala The Arts. Kala the Arts is an arts organisation, which although based in Basingstoke, in practice covers most of the country. It promotes Odissi and other Indian Dance through professional performances, community work, residencies, insets and workshops and has gained an excellent reputation for its educational work with sessions from one day to ten weeks.
