Calyx/Beast/Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe

Calyx - a new piece for 2017 by company dancer Sandrine Monin: this beautiful work explores the theme of desire, inspired by 'The Flowers of Evil' by Charles Baudelaire. Beast, by choreographer Douglas Thorpe ?immerses the audience into the darkest reaches of the mind, using six dancers in a powerful, intimidating and uncompromising performance. Aletta Collins' Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe uses a live microphone to blend movement and voices into a pulsating soundtrack, in a work described by The Times as 'sparky, mischievous...crowd-pleasing'.
