Featuring traditional Javanese gamelan and dance performed by top dancers and musicians from Jogyakarta and Surakarta, the Court Centres of Central Java, alongside the St David's Hall own gamelan group Cardiff Gamelan. The repertoire includes songs of a more contemplative style as well as vigorous dances which involve complex steps and spectacular costumes.
