A Celebration of Diwali. The age-old struggle between good and evil, as told in the Ramayana, is vividly brought to life in this witty new dramatisation by one of Britain's leading children's authors. One starry night, Hanuman the Monkey God appears in Amrita's bedroom and takes her on a magical journey into the story of Diwali, the Festival of Light, and the New Year. Amrita sees brave Prince Rama and her brother Prince Lakshmana tricked by demons. She sees beautiful Princess Sita kidnapped by Ravana, Lord of the Demons. And, finally she sees how Good brings light back into the world. A wonderful spectacle, full of music, colour and dance, that weaves past and present into an exciting, exuberant adventure.
