Production details

Barry Cunliffe, Professor of European Archaeology at Oxford University is famous for his work at Fishbourne, Portchester Castle, Bath and Danebury. In recent years, however, he has turned his attention to Roman Villas in the Andover region, often re-examining sites that were first dug a century or more ago. This illustrated talk will look at the archaeological evidence for this remarkably successful colonial power as it considers 'Villa Life in Roman Hampshire'.
