Mr Crisp, who is now in his 91st year, will discuss a number of topics in this show which features no director and no script. For the first half of the performance, Mr Crisp will impart his scathing wisdom on a number of subjects, including happiness. Following this, he will then answer all the sundry questions from the audience. Every performance is different. In the words of Mr Crisp himself, 'It's not really a performance. I go onstage and say what I think...I tell people how to be happy because happiness is the only thing I understand.' Most famous for his work, 'The Naked Civil Servant', Quentin Crisp shot to fame when a book was made into a play and movie starring John Hurt. An Evening with Quentin Crisp website.
