Charles Court Opera return to The Rosemary Branch Theatre for the fourth year running with their now legendary "boutique" panto. In addition to selecting and arranging the music encompassing everything from cheesy pop to grand opera, this year they have written the script too. This brand new version of Robin Hood promises to live up to the wild and wacky reputation of CCO's previous offerings starring many of their regulars including Rosie Strobel, Simon Masterton Smith, Liz Menezes, Kevin Kyle, Sebastian Valentine, Lydia Jenkins and of course John Savournin as Maid Marian. Musical Direction is provided by Wigmore Hall piano duo, David Eaton and James Young, who also play Little John and Friar Tuck. Don't worry if you don't know the story - no one else will either, what you will get is top quality performers, and a set that thinks it deserves the West End. Suitable for ages from 3 to 93, matinees are definitely children orientated, but evening performances are a bit spicier and there are four Adults Only nights when the double entendres may land dangerously near the bone.Company Charles Court Opera.
