A play for ages 13 and above is set in London in the year 2020, in a world of divided loyalties and dwindling resources. 20-year-old Paul, his girlfriend Sufia and his little sister (and teenage mum) Leah face a tragedy, which forces them to make decisions that will change their lives forever. Blowback is a play about race, love and accountability and has been developed in direct contact with young people, ensuring authentic language and inner-city life. It is under-scored by a contemporary soundtrack.
