Diana of Dobson's

T1275256510
Diana is a middle class spirited woman forced by the convention of the day to work in Dobson's Drapery Shop for a pittance. A fairytale windfall allows her to live the high life and move in quite different circles, if only for a while. The play is an amusing romantic comedy but one which mixes fantasy with realism as it looks at women's dependency on a good marriage for economic security.
