Nobody's Perfect

T1976754682
When Harriet, the publisher at the feminist publishing house Love Is All Around (their motto is For Women by Women), rejects Leonard's new book because he is 'clearly not a woman', he decides there is only one course of action open to him...revenge! Within days he has reeled off the first chapter of a new novel, penned under the 'right-on' womanly pseudonym Myrtle Banbury, and entered it for the Love Is All Around competition for new writers. When he gets a call from Harriet asking to speak to Myrtle Banbury, and offering prize money and a publishing contract, Leonard does what all good men do...he lies and tells Harriet that she is the ailing aged aunt Myrtle Banbury, that neither Dee Dee, his teenage daughter, nor Grampa Gus, his father, know anything about!!
