Gary and Steve, the kind of men you wouldn't normally notice, unwittingly find themselves playing a pivotal role in the night of two ambitious executives they've arranged to meet for a transaction... amongst Cardiff's shoppers. A very different theatre experience, small metal objects unfolds amidst the crowds outside Queens Arcade on Queen St. From a raised seating bank with your own set of headphones, you are invited to eavesdrop on an intensely personal drama being played out somewhere in the crowd. Performed by award-winning Australian company Back to Back Theatre, small metal objects explores how society treats outsiders, through a funny, tender and startlingly intimate drama.
