The Cheviot, The Stag and The Black, Black Oil

The Cheviot....relates the continuing story of the exploitation of the Scottish Highlands: first, through the Clearances to make way for the cheviot sheep, then by the stag hunting landed gentry and latterly in the name of North Sea Oil. Originally performed to unparalleled acclaim throughout Scotland by the [7:84 Theatre Company] and subsequently televised.
