The Hardybutts Boys is a commemorative adaptation of true stories from the Great War to honour the centenary. 1914 - The dawn of the Great War; the first man-made catastrophe of the 20th Century. Follow a group of lads from Wigan on a remarkable and eye-opening journey to the frontline - a journey that will test both their fortitude and courage when they find themselves trapped in a hopeless situation. The Hardybutts Boys is a sobering yet charming and heart-warming realisation of the shared experience of many British soldiers during the First World War and illustrates the constant need to support our soldiers in any way possible.
