Whisk vigorously and what do you get? This was Alan Parker's recipe for success and he pulled a sure-fire hit out of the over with The Commitments. It successfully took the movie musical into the 20th Century and is rated in the top 100 films of all time by the British Film Industry. It still remains a cult film to this day.
