Details

At the end of the First World War, young Scottish soldier Gregor McGregor is dispatched to a remote French village to dispose of a suspected bomb, wired to the village clock and due to detonate at the stroke of midnight. Fearing their lives, the local villagers have all fled - including the doctors at the local asylum. With the inmates taking on the role of villagers, they crown the soldier their king. But will Gregor be able to rescue his new friends and deactivate the bomb in time?
