Queen Gwendolen's Spell - Music Inspired By The Natural Woeld archiveQueen Gwendolen's Spell is a brand new Penzance-based group set up by resident violinist Jackie Shave. Their first concert in Penzance's vibrant Acorn Theatre will take you on a worldwide journey of nature and folk-inspired String and flute music from Germany, France, Syria, South Africa, America, Denmark, and Scotland, as well as some of their own compositions from albums Freedom to Roam and Postcards from home. Jackie and her sister Kathy on violin are joined by violist Kate Musker and cellist Joely Koos, with Eliza Marshall from Ranagri (folk band) and the Lion King in London, on flutes of many kinds.
