100 minutes of 100 per cent aural and visual pleasure. The Sound of Ocean is a mesmerising display of rhythm and movement, drawing on ancient Taiwanese arts and contemporary theatre techniques. There is no narrative, only the binding theme of water and the continual sounding of 28 primordial drums.
