When I'm Alone With Someone, tells the haunting tale of one man's journey into the past and 100 Nights On a Full Blue Moon, examines the life of the Romany people across Europe as a celebration of myth, love and passion in the face of death. From the searing speed of Vivaldi's quartet, Steinvor Palsson's Harmonic Whims will bring the dancers to explore the humour and sheer joy of the score. Eric Tessier-Lavigne's movement language in Valses Nobles et Sentimenales, set to Ravel's beautiful score, will ebb and flow, rise and fall, touching tenderness and displaying a lack of compromise in passion.
