The programme also includes Elisabeth Lutyens's exquisite The Valley of Hatsu-Se, Ethel Smyth's extraordinary Four Songs for voice and ensemble. Completing the programme is the London premiere of her husband Anthony Payne's Horn Trio and Frank Bridge's magnificent, rarely heard Rhapsody for String Trio.
