Casanova archiveThe year is 1755 and a strange series of events are occurring across Europe. In Flanders bakers' bread rises without yeast whilst in Padua a church service is interrupted as the entire female congregation go into labour. But what of Casanova? The infamous lover has escaped from prison, leaving her beloved Venice behind. Pursued by a ruthless detective, she travels onwards but as her enthusiasm for adventure begins to falter she struggles to come to terms with a terrifying and sad revelation.
