From Donegal and The Bronx - An evening of poetry and traditional Irish music. Matthew Sweeney hails from Donegal, Michael Donaghy was born in the Bronx and later moved to England. Together with Don and Edel they guarantee a grand night out with readings of their poetry punctuated with jigs, hornpipes, airs and reels on fiddle, flute, bodhran and guitar. Matthew Sweeney is a recipient of a 1999 Arts Council of England Writers' Award. Michael Donaghy is a winner of the Whitbread Prize for Poetry and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Award.
