The incredible true story of Irena Gut, a Polish Catholic, who, witnessing the fate of Jews in German-occupied Poland, began a very personal rescue campaign. Dan Gordon's wonderful play captures Irena's irony and sense of humour in the face of adversity and the play is as uplifting as it is thought provoking.
