Upside Down is a farcical and grotesque parody of Shelley s Frankenstein and Soviet insane asylums. This bizarre and hilarious voyage through parallel topsy-turvy worlds of reincarnation, taboos and clones combines classical and contemporary dance, absurd pantomimic forms and metaphysical mystery. Exploring birth, death and immortality in their own provocative and eccentric way, Upside Down s surreal Slavonic idiosyncrasies combine in an absorbing, hilarious tour de force.
