Opera North Youth Chorus and Sage Gateshead Quay Voices join forces for the first time to perform Bob Chilcott's Circlesong, based on Native American writings. Tribal rhythmic sections are contrasted with tender, simple melodies and glorious climactic moments, all performed by the two choirs and a percussion ensemble from the Royal Northern College of Music.
