Wild Card is a Sadler's Wells initiative that gives artists the opportunity to present the work of their choice. It aims to bring fresh ideas to the stage by giving young creators a platform to share the work they admire. Wild Card returns with more specially curated evenings from a new generation of dance makers, bringing fresh perspectives to the stage. For each Wild Card, an up-and-coming artist is given the opportunity to present their own work, alongside performances by artists they admire. Tim Casson is a London-based performer and choreographer with an interest in collaboration, interactivity and technology. Best known for his innovative record-breaking dance project The Dance WE Made, Tim invites you to join him and his friends for a night of work created through unexpected and unique collaborations - between dancers, artists and perhaps even you! The evening includes the London premiere of Casson's solo work Fiend; a magical reimagining of Nijinsky's iconic Afternoon of a Faun, created in collaboration with computer programmer Tom Butterworth, which sees the dancer multiplied and seeking a connection in his virtual world. Tim Casson invites audiences to join performers for an evening to explore the wonderful things that can happen when people work together. Running time: 2hrs 5mins (including one 30min interval)
