A young boy discovers a tiny white egg which soon comes to life as a greedy caterpillar before emerging as a beautiful butterfly... This enchanting dance spectacular tells the story of a boy fascinated with the natural world. An explorer, adventurer and a dreamer in his own back garden, his obsession with a tiny caterpillar makes him an outsider and a target for those who do not understand him. The caterpillar becomes the most important thing in his life and he soon finds himself its reluctant protector. Butterfly Boy is a fantasy adventure that illustrates the joys and frustrations of growing up and transformation. A transformative mix-en-scene, Butterfly Boy follows our hero's metamorphosis with a magical stage set. Work-in-progress
