Details

The villagers must perform a ritual to fend off starvation and pestilence. They know they are at the mercy of the climate and this ceremonial challenge is their only way to fight against death and disease. Will the ritual go well? The fortunes of every person in the village are in the balance, made still more precarious by an extra problem - all around them are objects which they must include in the ritual. But if the villagers get it wrong, they will be in danger ...
