The choir was formed in 1947 and have won all the major competitions including 3 firsts at Llangollen and in 1995 became the first British choir to win outright the Gold Award at the Malta International Choir Festival. Heralding Christmas for North Staffordshire, the Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir make their annual sure-sell out appearance the Saturday before Christmas in the theatre in the round.
