In her new one-woman show, the distinguished actress Margaret Wolfit gives a dramatic adaptation of Pushkin's great novel that touches the Russian life and experience in the 1820s. Set on a country estate, shy, thoughtful Tatiana expresses her affection in a letter for the brooding, enigmatic Onegin, only to be given a polite, if patronising rejection. Years later, they meet again and there is a significant reversal. But is it too late?
