Details

This entertaining black comedy veers from farce to tragedy as a Korean immigrant's wish for a perfect life as an American housewife turns sour. Exasperated by her husband's dreams of Hollywood success, M's intensifying isolation leads her on a hallucinatory journey where she must come to terms with her past, and embrace whatever the future brings. Loosely inspired by the Medea myth, this dysfunctional love story veers from madcap farce to tragedy as one isolated Korean immigrant collides with the illusions of the American dream.
