MacGregor is one of the world's most wide ranging and influential musicmakers. As a concert pianist she has worked with such eminent figures as Pierre Boulez, Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Colin Davis, and has premiered landmark works from Django Bates to John Adams. A restless innovator, she has continued to break down musical barriers throughout her career, including cross-genre collaborations with Brian Eno, Nitin Sawhney and, at this year's London Jazz Festival, virtuoso oud player Dhafer Youssef. Joanna performs her own arrangements of Lost Highway and Piazzolla's Six Tangos, and Beethoven's Variations on a Theme by Diabelli.
